Assassin's Creed Origins 60 FPS Update May Be In Progress

Ancient Egypt from Assassin’s Creed Origins is a visually stunning place to explore, and it will look even better soon.

That’s because Ubisoft has revealed that they are looking at adding 60 FPS support to the Bayak-led Assassin’s Creed title. This news was announced today, December 21, which is also Assassin’s Creed Day. No, it’s not the first Assassin’s Creed title or the franchise’s title anniversary. It’s Winter Solstice Day, and in the Assassin’s Creed story, December 21, 2012 was destined for the end of the world.

However, Desmond Miles sacrificed himself to save the world from Juno’s destruction. It happened in Assassin’s Creed 3 in 2012. Assassin’s Creed Origins is coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC in five years. As the name suggests, the story points to the origins of the Assassin Brotherhood (or at least it will one day become the Brotherhood). Looks like we’ll soon be able to experience its origin story at 60 FPS.

Unfortunately, Ubisoft hasn’t revealed anything else, so those who want more will have to wait for the content of this update. There is no information on when this 60FPS patch will be complete, and there are no confirmed guarantees. The only claim is that Ubisoft is “considering adding 60FPS support to Assassin’s Creed Origins”.
