Bill Clinton Makes Funny Cameos on Guilty Gear Strive

Guilty Gear Strive was released last summer and is still going strong with DLC characters and Evo fighting tournaments. You wouldn’t have expected a former president to appear in the game. you’re right. Bill Clinton is a prop set in one of Guilty Gear Strive’s many different arenas. Of course he’s not a playable fighter, but he’s a gracious spectator.

Gamespot has provided details on why his inclusion is so cheeky and ironic. Clinton criticized game advertisements in 1999. Guilty Gear isn’t the only title mentioned. Still, in the video I’ll link here, Clinton says in the slogan mentioned above that the apparent violence is “the most incredible [yes]” of all the games he’s criticized. This speech seems to have faded over time, but Guilty Gear fans are proud of their favorite fighter’s rebuke. Now, Clinton is the newest addition to the game after several years. Things always go smoothly, right?

The picture of Clinton (see above) is pretty blurry, but it’s undoubtedly him. The update dropped yesterday along with the White House Reborn map featuring the 42nd President of the United States, the addition of a fan-favorite fighter Testament, and the Digital Figure mod used to discover the Clinton picture in the first place. The second season of Guilty Gear Strive is off to a delightful start.
