Capcom Launches Arcade Stadium Sequel With 32 Additional Games

Capcom today announced on Twitter that it will be releasing a collection of 32 classic arcade games. According to the tweet, this new compilation is titled Capcom Arcade 2nd Stadium and two games have already been revealed.

SonSon is a free game when you download the collection. Those who pre-order or purchase the upcoming Capcom Fighting Collection will receive a bonus copy of the Three Wonders when the Capcom Arcade 2nd Stadium is released.

The original Capcom Arcade Stadium came with 1942 and included 32 arcade titles that could be purchased in pieces after the base game was downloaded for free. Other games from the first collection include Final Fight, Ghouls ‘n Ghosts, Strider, Street Fighter 2: Hyper Fighting, Bionic Commando, and Captain Commando. Games are priced at $1.99 each or are available in various bundles. Capcom hasn’t commented on whether prices will remain the same, but given the wording in the announcement tweet, individual sales of the game will also remain a plan for this iteration.

A release date for Capcom Arcade 2nd Stadium has not yet been set, but just like the previous Arcade Stadium collection, it will be available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC.
