Far Cry 6's Stranger Things crossover goes live tomorrow. Teaser trailer released
Ubisoft announced in September that Far Cry 6 will intersect with Stranger Things in a future DLC, and today the company announced that this intersection will go live tomorrow.
Ubisoft has revealed that the Stranger Things crossover mission will start on March 24 in a new teaser trailer released today. As expected, there are a few attractions fans of Netflix’s Stranger Things will recognize, such as the infamous Demogorgon, the trademark Red Sky, and more. Since it’s still Far Cry 6, the main character Dani Rojas will be a playable character in this crossover mission, but perhaps some familiar faces will also appear here.
Plus, this weekend, March 24 - March 27, Far Cry 6 is free to play, so the mission is open to anyone. As with other Far Cry 6, this crossover mission can be played alone or in co-op.
Not much is known about this Stranger Things crossover, despite the release date being announced a few months ago with less than 24 hours. It’s definitely an odd piece of DLC given that there isn’t much linking the two franchises, but I think it’s going to be a good time nonetheless. Fortunately, it’s out tomorrow, so you don’t have to wait too long.
