New Kirby and Forgotten Land Trailer Shows Mouthful Mode That Could Suck Cars
Kirby and the Forgotten Land releases on March 25th. In today’s trailer, shown at the latest Nintendo Direct, we take a fresh look at some of Kirby’s abilities in the game.
As expected, they involve sucking objects and transforming them according to what he swallows. This ability is known as Kirby’s Mouthful Mode, which activates Car Mouth when, for example, he sucks something like a car. In Car Mode, Kirby can dash around the level and smash enemies in his way.
The trailer revealed many other mouth shapes, including the Vending Mouth, where Kirby sucks a vending machine that lets him shoot juice cans at enemies, and the Cone Mouth, which sucks a cone and then lets him drop spikes on something. There are scissor mouths, ring mouths, bulb mouths, arched mouths and even water balloon mouths.
But that’s not all that’s shown in the trailer. We took a look at Waddle Dee Town, where Waddle Dee lives and home to Waddle Dee’s Weapon Shop. Here you can purchase items and evolutions such as Cutter and Chakram Cutter, Volcano Fire, Clutter Needle, Giant Sword, Noble Ranger, Frosty Ice and Toy Hammer. You’ll need all of this to successfully proceed with Kirby’s latest adventure in Kirby and Forgotten Land.
Fortunately, the Switch launches on March 25th, so you won’t have to wait any longer to play this game. While you wait, read about why Kirby and Forgotten Land are the cutest in post-apocalyptic history and watch this trailer. Released last month showing Kirby’s copying abilities and the game’s co-op mode. Read on to see if Nintendo has plans to celebrate Kirby’s 30th anniversary in a different way this year after that.
