Next week Naruto Ninja will jump into Fortnite

Naruto is a cultural phenomenon that continues to gain popularity and success in the anime community, while Fortnite is about the game. Naruto’s fluid animations, impressive world-building, and relatable heroes have inspired fans around the world. At the same time, Fortnite is loved for its ongoing content releases and unexpected intersections, and Marvel and DC are prime sources of inspiration. However, it is rare for anime to appear in the gameplay loop of a cartoonish battle royale. But somehow it makes sense for two giants like Naruto and Fortnite to come together. According to the teaser tweets, Naruto (Shippuden to be exact) says the ninja will be jumping into Fortnite next week. believe!

The image above highlights the Naruto-Fortnite crossover event that was released on November 16th. We can do our best to present what players will see when the update rolls out to all servers. It would be safe to assume that one will get a team 7 skin. With Naruto, Sakura, and Sasuke leading the show’s central plot, it doesn’t seem unreasonable to see the three heroes jumping off the party bus.

In addition to these characters, you’ll find other mainstream ones such as Kakashi (teacher of Team 7), Rock Lee (a martial artist inspired by Bruce Lee), and Itachi (Sasuke’s powerful older brother and resident series Edge Lord). There are sky-high limits when it comes to potential Naruto cosmetics, but hopefully there will at least be an impressive and sizable catalog of mountable skins to choose from.

For emotes, the “Full Tilt” animation already reflects Naruto’s infamous ninja execution. Perhaps instead we’ll see more interesting peripherals like alternate judo or flashy shuriken attacks. Other items that can be worn on the back might include bags or literal visualizations of mythical beasts such as a nine tailed fox or Jiraiya’s hard-boiled giant toad friend, Gamabunta. On a smaller scale, there might be other wearable items such as Ichiraku ramen bowls. We’ll have to wait for Naruto Shippuden to release on Fortnite next week.
