Obi-Wan Kenobi Premiere has been delayed a bit
Obi-Wan Kenobi was scheduled to premiere on Disney+ on Wednesday, May 25, but the highly anticipated Star Wars series has been delayed.
Fortunately, the delay is short. The show now starts on Friday, May 27th. In the video announcing the update, Ewan McGregor himself deleted the bonus news that the first two episodes of the series could be seen on the first day.
Obi-Wan Kenobi fills the gap between Revenge of the Sith and A New Hope, following the Jedi Master’s tribute to Tatooine, keeping an eye on the young Luke Skywalker. He will face every threat from the Dark Side, including the live-action debut of the Imperial Inquisitors and the villain Darth Vader played by the returning Hayden Christensen.
The rest of the cast includes Moses Ingram, Joel Edgerton, Bonnie Piesse, Kumail Nanjiani, Indira Varma, Rupert Friend, O’Shea Jackson Jr. etc. Disney bills Obi-Wan Kenobi as a ‘Limited Series’, suggesting that it will consist of only a single season. You can watch the debut trailer here.
