Sonic Origins Edition and Content Pack Details

Sega today officially unveiled Sonic Origins, a remastered and enhanced collection of classic Sonic games coming out in June. It also revealed that the title will be available in two versions, along with several pre-order bonus packs.

The game website shares a chart (shown above) that categorizes each version of the game and the various pre-order bonuses. If you have trouble understanding it, we don’t blame you. It’s confusing at first glance, so here’s a brief breakdown of what it entails.

The Standard Edition, which is just a game, costs $39.99. The Digital Deluxe version runs for $44.99 and includes the game and:

• difficult missions

• letterbox background

• Character animations in the main menu

• Camera control for main menu island

• Character animation on Music Island

• Exclusive tracks from Genesis/Mega Drive titles

Basically, the Classic Sound and Fun Pack are just bonuses included in the Digital Deluxe edition, but they are split a bit. Hope it helped you figure out what you get and where you get it.
