Sonic Origins is arriving this summer to celebrate Blue Blur's birthday
Sega released the first trailer for Sonic Origins, a collection of remastered remasters of Sonic’s best Genesis era titles, first revealed in May.
Origins remasters Sonic 1, Sonic 2, Sonic 3/Knuckles and Sonic CD with fun tweaks like sharper resolution, new and improved animations, and the ability to play as Sonic’s two sidekicks in every game. like; You can finally break through the Marvel Zone of Sonic 1 with Knuckles.
If you want to keep it vintage, Classic mode allows players to enjoy these games in their original form. Conversely, Anniversary Mode offers a full-screen display and infinite lives for those who want to travel each adventure without the stress. Sonic Origins encourages gameplay with new in-game missions that reward medals. Use this currency in the game’s vault to unlock new content and access special stages. Origins is also featuring new cutscenes in Sonic Mania’s animated cinematic style.
Sonic Origins launches on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC on June 23rd, Sonic’s 31st birthday. The Standard Edition costs $39.99, but there are two versions and several content packs. You can read everything here.
