Sonic the Hedgehog 2: Final Trailer Reveals New Knuckle Videos and More

Sonic the Hedgehog 2 hit theaters in just weeks on April 8th, and today Paramount Pictures released the definitive trailer for the sequel.

If you’ve seen the trailer for Sonic the Hedgehog 2 recently, you know that Paramount and Sega are rightfully pushing for the return of Robotnik and the introduction of Tails and Knuckles. And of course Robotnik, Tails, Knuckles, and of course Sonic look great in this final trailer.

As you can see above, this trailer contains the most scenes of Warrior Echidna Knuckles yet, including a blue blur that avoids everything but one of the punches. Unfortunately for Sonic, one punch will require Knuckles to do some serious damage. Elsewhere in the trailer we see more about Tails. In some scenes, it turns out that Sonic and Tails get along so well with each other that they have become fans of the friendly duo of the Sonic series and have known them for decades.

We’re excited to see how Knuckles joins the duo and turns it into a trio. But for now, everyone’s favorite echidna is Jim Carrey’s Dr. It remains an ally and pawn of Robotnik.

Paramount also released a new movie poster along with today’s trailer. Fans of Sonic will know how well this movie poster pays tribute to the Sonic Hedgehog 2 game poster.
