The company, populated by some of the former studio’s staff and led by a new team, announced the follow-up to Wolf Again Us at the Game Awards 2019. Then things calmed down, leaving many to speculate what happened to the newly revamped studio. was doing However, Telltale has recently been very vocal about the status of the project and the studio itself. This most recent post from Telltale’s official Twitter account summarizes the studio’s recent milestones and a list of what they hope to achieve in the near future. It begins with “The Telltale is Back”. The post then convinces readers that the company is changing things and solving problems that originally plagued the studio, while trying to stay true to Telltale’s legacy.

Perhaps the most eye-catching part of the message is the section at the end detailing what comes next. It looks like we’ll be hearing about The Wolf A Man Earth 2 soon. As you can read below, the post states that the team is ready to release more news “when we can go deeper in early next year”.

Announced at the Game Awards a few weeks ago, The Expanse: A Telltale Series is an adaptation of the popular Amazon TV show, in collaboration with Life is Strange: True Colors studio Deck Nine. Both developers have a solid storytelling history, so we’re expecting a lot from the title.
