Warframe's annual event, TennoCon, returns in July

Not surprisingly, TennoCon, an annual event and celebration of all things Warframe, is back again this year. Digital Extremes, the creators of the action MMO, is hosting the show on July 16th.

Digital Extremes promised “a full-day event full of exciting reveals from the Digital Extremes team”, announcing on their website the timing of the show and will once again be held virtually. Despite having to watch the festival from home, Warframes fans can take part in the big day by submitting it to the community art showcase. “Sculpture, painting, digital art, Captura work, cosplay, etc — we all want to see.” The showcase’s submission form says: Clans can also show off their group’s stronghold with a dojo showcase.

Digital Extremes will also donate to an as yet undecided Canadian charity. The company says it will announce selected charities later.

Last year’s TennoCon revealed a massive cinematic solo quest called The New War, which was later released in December 2021. Digital Extremes also announced that development of a cross-play and cross-save system is in the works, but those features still hit the Warframe client at the time of this story.
