Wu-Tang Clan Costumes, Emoticons and Other Hits Released This Weekend
Epic Games has announced their next music-inspired collaboration through none other than Wu-Tang Clan.
The game starts this weekend at 8pm. For EST (April 23rd), the collaboration brings two outfits to the Battle Royale Item Shop, along with emotes, sprays, new loading screens and banners, and more. As you can see in the image below, this collaboration is very focused on the style of Wu-Tang Clan and doesn’t necessarily require an individual member of a famous hip-hop group (RZA or someone else someday).

Two outfits available this weekend are Throwback BG and B.R.I.T.E. Comes with skins and matching accessories for each. The nostalgic BG outfit includes the WUWEAR Worldwide Bag Bling, but you can also purchase a matching neck pickaxe. Back bling reacts to music and pickaxe reacts to hits. Both come with Ruckus Red alternative styles.

B.R.I.T.E. The costume includes the Wu-Tang Represent Back Bling and you can also choose the Triumphant Tagger pickaxe to complete this costume. Back bling responds to music, and when you swing your pickaxe, it leaves paint marks when you swing it. Both come with a Ruckus Red alternative style.

The following items are also available for purchase in the Fortnite Item Shop:
-
Shimmy Surfer Glider
-
Wu Wrap
-
Wu-Tang is Forever Emote
WUWEAR Worldwide Bag Bling and B.R.I.T.E. Garments with Wu-Tang Represent Back Bling can be used individually or together in the Wu Wear bundle. This bundle also includes a Wu-Tang hand emoji and a Wu-Tang style loading screen.

“The Next Protector Pickaxe, Triumphant Tagger Pickaxe, Shimmy Surfer Glider, Wu Wrap and Wu-Tang is Forever Emote are available individually or together in the Wu Wear gear bundle,” Epic Games said in a press release. “This bundle additionally includes a Wu Boom Box spray and a Wu-Tang Clan banner.”
Aside from this, Wu-Tang Outfits has a no-cap style that shows off the hair in the outfit. Also to celebrate Wu-Tang’s collaboration with Fortnite, Wu-Tang Clan is creating a special Fortnite Wu-Tang costume, including real-life versions of the costumes featured in the game, available at 8pm. 23 April EST here.
Wu-Tang Clan member RZA said, “Fortnite has been in our house for several years. “Watching the game evolve and having fun and enjoyment at the same time. This collaboration is a multi-generation ‘drip’ of Swag and Cool. If that’s true, Fortnite and Wu-Tang could become Potangerous…”
