You can beat The Quarry without pressing a button

The Quarry is an upcoming game from Supermassive Games, a spiritual sequel to 2015’s When Dawn. Unlike ‘Until Dawn’, where players assume the role of multiple characters locked in a winter lodge, The Quarry uses the classic “unsupervised teens at summer camp” metaphor.

There is also an impressive cast of voice actors such as David Arquette (Scream series), Lin Shaye (A Nightmare on Elm Street, Insidious), and Ted Raimi (Evil Dead series). , Candyman, The Grudge), Ariel Winter (Modern Family), Justice Smith (Detective Pikachu), Brenda Song (The Suite Life of Zack and Cody, Dollface), and more. Under these circumstances, as expected, nine unsupervised camp agents are left in Hackett Quarry overnight, and things get messed up when people start to die at the hands of someone or something ominous.

IGN is covering The Quarry all through April as part of IGN First coverage, and in a preview revealed in today’s publication, it was revealed that it will feature a mode that lets you win the entire game without pressing a button. . This mod is called the Movie Mode, and according to IGN, “Essentially, it allows you to pre-determine the actions of each of the nine characters at the beginning of the story before seeing all the developments.” You can pre-determine things like being cautious, confident, polite, or even confrontational, and these traits determine where the credits end when they roll.

Once you’ve set up movie mode, you can put down your controllers and watch the chaos unfold. You can see this mod in action in about 7 minutes in the video below.
